Styling Tips: Recreate that outfit!

How many times have you looked inside your closet and thought, “I don’t have anything to wear?” I too have probably done this a thousand times. Then we proceed to go shop for something new because that’s easier for us. When in reality, we could probably have found something from our closet. I am definitely not a fan of wearing the same outfit over again, but sometimes you have to work with what you have. Here are some tips on how to do just that!

In the following photos, you will see how I wore the same outfit twice on separate occasions and I styled them differently.

Blue Jacket Dress: First time I wore this dress, I wanted to wear it showing off the deep neckline with nothing covering my chest. I am not a huge accessory kind of person, so I added a silver studded choker to the outfit along with a fur collar. Pairing satin thigh high boots to complete the look was my favorite part. I have a little boot obsession.

The second time I wore this,  I wanted to be a little more comfy. I added a bralette and a pair of shorts. Switching the accessories up, I placed a Gucci belt around my waist and paired a cute heeled sandal with it.

Pink Knit Dress: When I first wore this dress, I kept it simple, adding a silver studded choker with it and completing the outfit with a pair of nude heels.

The second time I wore this outfit, I wanted to add some gold accents. My gold watch and purse was the perfect match. Completing the look with my sandy colored coat and brown suede boots.

Red Stripe Track Pants: This outfit consisted of a bodysuit and track pants. When I wore it the first time, I paired it with gold heeled sandals. The second time I wore this outfit, I only made some slight changes. I added a cropped hoodie on top of the bodysuit and my choice of shoes were booties.

Remember, it’s not about what you wear; it’s about how you wear it!

I hoped my tips helped! Let me know if they did.
