Monitor your Media Intake
Watching what you consume does not only apply to food.
It also applies to what you watch on television, what you read, and interact with. We already can have an unhealthy connection with technology. Might as well make sure that the media we are consuming is positive!
A few months ago I unfollowed a few celebrity gossip, influencer, and celebrity pages. Not to only see people I actually know post but to also remind myself of reality.
Social media can get you very caught in the lives of people who you don’t know. It’s okay to acknowledge these media aspects but you don’t have to consume all of it. That is exactly why I decided to do a timeline cleanse, so it can positively align with things I’m interested in.
Pick what works for you and ignore the rest.
